This new release, V8.60+ versions, of our de Havilland Canada Garrett and PT6 powered
DHC-3 Turbine Otters. The models have been totally reworked for V8.60 using data from
the Type Certificate Data Sheet (TCDS) and from the aircraft pilot operating handbook
(POH), supplemented by Papa Mac's extensive library of Otter data. These GoodWay ready
aircraft have newly redesigned instrument panels with realistic gauges designed by master
graphics artist Peter Fischer.
The remodeled 3D cockpits include animated flight controls, engine operating controls,
instrument panel switches, cockpit and cabin doors,and animated flap and aileron actuators.
These models also feature the launch of animated pilot figures by our new associate,
Bob “Blue Skies Bob” Feaver; which one of our reviewers declared to be “the best animated
figures I've seen.”
